Staff has the obligation to cover city and community events.No they don't Joe. That obligation belonged to TV3 only for the six months they had a secondary contract to videotape and carry City events. After the original six month contract ended, the City decided not to renew it, citing the expense as being too great. Instead they created the Government channel and moved the obligation over to them. Haven't you seen the documents detailing the entire history of this? Haven't you seen the tapes of the City Council meetings discussing and planning this in great detail yet?
You haven't? Well I guess that'll be your next public records request. Too bad you don't know which City Council meetings to ask for and which City Department has copies of those reports and contracts.
